Very long-lasting Sikkens finishing stain based on alkyd resin

Often imitated, never equalled, the reputation of Cetol Filter 7 from the Cetol range is well established. Born in 1792, the Sikkens brand continues to innovate and it was in the 1980s that this revolutionary stain was born. This innovation has made it possible to design a stain that is as efficient as it is durable, highly resistant to UV, the number one enemy of wood and stains. It highlights the veining of the exterior woodwork through a magnificent satin finish, while guaranteeing exceptional durability.

Available in ready-to-use factory natural wood shades from the "Classic Wood" color chart: 006 Light Oak, 009 Dark Oak only available in 1L 2.5L and 5L and stained to order in 042 Boxwood, 077 Oregon Pine, 085 Teak, 020 Ebony, 996 Ash, 045 Mahogany, 095 Grey, Beech, Light Oak 006, Dark Oak 009 and White in 1L, 2.5L and 10L.

 Colorless coatings are not suitable for exterior use except Cetol Clearcoat MB Colorless.

Application systems for this stain

On new and hard wood: Apply in 3 coats

On new and soft wood: Apply in 2 coats previously impregnated with Cetol HLS Plus

On already stained wood: Apply in 2 coats over a compatible stain (solvent)

Maintenance: Apply in 2 coats in the original color or 2 coats of colorless Cetol Clearcoat MB
